Aaaaaand it continues. I think I've decided the Academy is going to be part private learning institute, part correctional facility for young adults with juvenile delinquency records mostly because I'm amused with the irony of the same people that mentally fucked over the Freelancers in the source material are the ones trying to make them reformed in this 'verse. Carolina Williams:
The undisputed overachiever on campus. She has the highest grades in every class, highest GPA and is second best at any sport she tries- a fact that frustrates her to no end. Despite her best friends being York and Four-Seven, those that know her by reputation only think she's an uptight teacher's pet with no sense of humor. She doesn't pretend to be perfect, she just has perfectionist tendencies; when she allows herself to relax, she's actually rather friendly. She also cannot match clothes to save her life so Four-Seven generally picks out her not-school-uniform for her.

Connie "CT" Torres:
Even in a school full of cynics and bad attitudes, CT is know for being a cynic with a bad attitude. Incredibly smart but fairly apathetic, she usually responds to everyone with a sarcastic or disparaging remark. CT owns both a male and female uniform as she's genderfluid- she'll respond to female pronouns for the simple fact she's biologically female, but her gender identity changes on a daily basis. She's male when wearing a male uniform, female when wearing a female one. A loner by nature, her attitude and quirks gained Wash's attention and they've struck a tentative (and awkward) friendship. And the only reason CT hasn't realized he has a crush on her yet is because Wash is terrible at talking to girls.

Angela "Four-Seven" Vasquez:
One of Carolina's best friends and her roommate who has a snarky quip or several ready at all times. Her nickname comes from the fact she was charged with stealing or helping to steal cars in 47 states before coming to the Academy (all but alaska, hawaii and rhode island which was driven through before she realized it). Captain of the debate club she's a fast enough talker she can convince just about anyone of just about anything which makes her especially dangerous around the more naive or trusting students since she just can't help herself.

Sonya "South" Thorogood:
South has an odd relationship with her twin brother North. She wants to be just as popular and praised as him but wants to be nothing like him at the same time. This often leads her to getting in trouble with the faculty and fights with other students. Despite this, however, North is always the one South goes to when she realizes she's in over her head and will back North up if he ever needs it. A prickly and unlikeable personality on the surface, she's really a lonely and self-conscious person deep inside.

Allison "Tex" Gray:
Hailing from Texas, most people know Tex for one of two reasons: she's the scariest person on campus and she's the Director's son's occasional girlfriend (and heaven help you if you try to define her by that). To Tex, people fall into two categories: people she doesn't care about and people she trolls. Her favorite targets in this last category are Church, her occasional boyfriend, and Carolina (tex even sabotages any relationship attempts between her and york for the lulz despite counting york as one of her few friends). Despite fairly high grades and being the most athletic person in the Academy, Tex rarely applies herself, gaining ire and jealousy of those that work their asses off (like carolina).

I'm also half thinking about faculty. Why hasn't anyone stopped me yet?
