So I've decided that, until my new school semester starts up, I'll be doing at least ONE piece of artwork a week. Whether it be a mini-comic, thumbnails, reference sketches or even a fully rendered piece, I want to keep myself practicing by doing stuff for me before I get buried under schoolwork again.
The first one I've decided to do features DC's Booster Gold and Blue Beetle which has been floating in my head kinda off and on since Booster Gold 26/27 came out. And also because I miss Ted lots. Jaime's kickass and Booster has potential on his own but really? Ted needs to come back. And if he comes back and this actually happens in the comic? I will blow that page up to fit my wall because it would be the perfect blend of humor, angst and closeness that defines Booster and Ted's relationship (gay or not).
I may color in the comic or perhaps just the last panel when my new programs come in, if not just to have an excuse to practice with Painter some more. And my new tablet (eeee!)
Booster Gold and Ted/Blue Beetle are property of DCU.
Aww, so late to this party, but the picture is absolutely love. I really, really like the way you capture expressions, and all of them in this are so perfect.
